Monthly Luncheon Meetings
Our chapter typically holds monthly luncheon meetings on the third Thursday from September – May where members and guests can network, enjoy a delicous lunch and earn 1 hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE).  Meeting locations typically alternate between the Southside and Peninsula.  The registration fee for these meetings are $0 for members and $10 for non-members/guests, unless otherwise stated.  Meeting notifications and registration instructions are provided via email by our Director of Meetings/ Publicity about 3 weeks prior to the meeting date.      

Mini-Professional Development Conferences
In addition to the monthly luncheon meetings, members and guests of our chapter can earn CPE at our local 2 day conferences.  In December, our chapter partners up with the AGA Richmond Chapter to jointly host a Fall Mini-PDC conference in charming and historical Williamsburg, VA.  And then in March, our chapter co-hosts a Spring Mini-PDC conference with the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC) Hampton Roads Chapter in Chesapeake, VA. Approximately 14-16 CPEs are offered during these conferences covering a vast range of topics that are of current interest to the local government financial management professionals.


Community Service Activities
Throughout the year, our chapter coordinates community service activiites to support various non-profit organizations in our local area.  These activities provide members an opportunity to positively impact our fellow neighbors and support causes we believe in.     


Social/Networking Activities
To encourage networking among our members and to support Early Career and Membership goals, our chapter coordinates several social/networking events.
